Hey guys I just made my first purchase with Timewalk Games a few days ago and was just wondering if anyone knew about how long it takes to receive your stuff? I know it says like 2 to 3 weeks to process and then 2-3 days to ship it to you.

Any info would be appreciated!

I will purchase from them soon so can't comment, but curious as to what you bought?

I would be patient though because these type of stores are literally ran by one or at most a few guys. Pete's vid would have probably generated more business then he was expecting.

I haven't ordered from them before, however my past experience with other reproduction sites usually take about 30 days for the order to be made then a week for shipping. I would assume that would be the norm

Pete officially flooded the site. Direct quote from the site "As of 11-7-12 We Are Not Taking New Orders At the Moment In Order To Get Caught up With Past Orders. We Expect To Be Taking New Orders Again In Two to Three Weeks"

Took about 3-4 weeks if I remember. It definitely will not be faster than what they advertise, so best thing to do is just forget you ordered from them and just be surprised when the games show up :)

I figured that would be the case. I'm excited to get my game but now I wish I had bought a couple more so I could have got them before christmas!

Wow that's some bad business practices right there. It should not take a company more that 2 weeks to for-fill an order.

The problem honestly was the holidays and Pete flooded them the day after I placed my order. They got.overwhelmed and had to stop taking orders twice already. Another thing is this is a bunch of guys doing this on the side. Not a true business

Just ordered Terranigma and then they instantly took it off their product page. I guess they must be swamped with orders and I was quite surprised that happened.

Maybe I will get lucky and they already have one made and I got it haha, but I doubt it.

I don't know how long it takes simply because I haven't gotten the money to order something from Timewalk games yet but I will order from them eventually.

I took a little over a month for them to ship my copy of Terranigma. They don't ignore your requests or emails by any means though. Whenever I contacted them they replied back instantly and answered all the questions I had.

The product really is great, but I wouldn't say it is as authentic as some people make it out to be. Don't get me wrong, it is pretty close but the print quality is not 100% professional grade and the box is actually a thicker stock(might actually be a good thing since it is much harder to damage).

I would recommend them if you really want to play these games on the original hardware and for collector purposes. Their games actually sell for more on ebay then they do on their official site, so keep them in mind.

I will be buying from them again. Just have reasonable expectations and make sure the game is worth your investment.

I agree with Richard, the quality is very good but don't expect 100% identical SNES repros. The coloring on the boxes may be a bit off and not match the rest of your collection. the box stock is indeed thicker but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Some of the posters included with the games have a low resolution quality to them, but they are still a nice little extra. I still think the games are worth their purchase price, but it is hard to only buy one game when there are so many to choose from, it is hard to not spend a couple hundred dollars there!

My order took over 45 days to arrive, and several of the games (as in 40% of them, about 18 games out of 40) did not work at all (i had to return them.) Be sure you test the games, I feel like i was one of the only customers to get heavily burned. NEVER EVER buying from TIMEWALK games again.

That's a lot of cash you dished out for 40 games. For an order that large too, 45 days seems normal. Most reproduction sites take 30 days for a single game.

I'll say. I was looking into getting one reproduction at one point, but I had to put it off because it was too expensive. If you're buying that many, I'd almost say it'd be more worth your money to invest in originals.

Received Tales of Phantasia a few days ago and it is the most beautiful SNES box I have ever seen. The quality of their product has definitely improved. I will be buying from them again. I understand that these reproductions aren't for everyone and that they carry a high tag, but they mean a lot to some of us. It is almost as if justice is being served and we can finally have these missing gems.

I'm gonna go out on a whim and say that ordering after the holiday rush is probably best. They probably become inundated with so many orders during the holidays that it brings down the overall quality of the products they put out at times or missing their testing routine of carts (As evidenced above). Still a great company, great service and quality products IMO.

Y'know, having just beaten Chrono Cross and being on a real Chrono kick recently, maybe I should look into getting a cart of Radical Dreamers...or Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes (though I kinda want to play through it first elsehow...)

Brutal. I liked their quality from what I've seen on their site.

Anyone know of another site that's good for reproductions? I'm not a fan of gamereproductions.com as the owner tends to lie about the expected ship date based on the orders I've made in the past.

This...is awful. Now I may never get to enjoy Radical Dreamers on an SNES...though I guess I could give gamereproductions.com a spin sometime...
