These aren't the droids we're looking for.

I don't know about everyone else, but I really don't like the Super Slim; it's just so cheap feeling =/ I guess it's cool if you don't have a PS3 and really want a white one.

I just traded in my fat PS3 (40GB) for the crystal white super slim. I loved my old PS3 with it's gloss and it's beastly stature, however it would made random beep sounds and I was quickly running out of hard drive space. I looked into replace the hard drive, but that means shelling out $50 minimum, and with GameStop's promotion of an extra $75 trade credit towards a new PS3 white, I couldn't pass that up. The rough textured area on the crystal white does feel like cheap plastic, but to me it doesn't detract from it. I like the disc drive mechanism and that it takes up less space, because with the xbox, wii u, and ps3, surface space is becoming an issue with next gen on the horizon. And on the plus side, I got to use the composite cables that came with the new ps3 as my old hookups so I could keep my hdmi, as well as upgraded my controller to a dualshock 3. This isn't for everyone, a lot of people may hold out for the garnet red God of War edition (the dark red wasn't for me), but this trade and system lined up perfectly with my budget and PS3 needs.
You can find me on YouTube. I collect games, books, Bumbershoot posters, and simply love tech stuff!

Lord oh mercy the thing looks like a grill I wouldn't even consider taking it if they offered it to me for free.

I just got it like a week ago and I'm happy with it.

Don't really see why everyone is making such a big deal and calling it a grill, I mean, I remember back before the release of the fat PS3 everyone kept comparing it to a George Foreman grill then too so I don't see how this is different.
