Just bought a PS3

I just bought the new White Super Slim along with Ni No Kuni to get me going.

Just a warning I'm not really interested in Resistance, Killzone, or God of War.

So far I'm thinking the Uncharted series is a must. Heard some good things about a few RPG's.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks guys!

Heard lots of good things about 3D Dot Game Heroes definitely gonna get that. Unfortunately I watched a play through of Heavy Rain on YouTube so that might've ruined that game for me :/

Dark Souls and Demon's Souls, in my opinion the best games of this generation.
I would also recommend Dragon's Dogma and if you want good platformers Ratchet & Clank.

I LOVE the ps3. Here are my absolute favorite exclusives and a blurb about why I enjoy them so much

The Uncharted Series: it's like you're playing an Indiana Jones movie. Excellent story and gameplay.

Little Big Planet 1&2: addictive pickup and play platforming. Cooperative puzzles are an added bonus. Also, some astounding user generated content adds dozens of hours of totally free gameplay.

Journey Collector's Edition: this title gathers three of ThatGameCompany's PSN titles on disc. Playing Journey changed me, honestly.

Team Ico Collection: brings two PS2 exclusives to the PS3 in HD. If you have not played these games, please do so now. The adventure and powerful narrative in this game is hard to match.

Heavenly Sword: a launch title, but definitely not to be overlooked. The story is pinned by Terry Pratchet's (author of the cult Discworld novels) daughter. Challenging--but fun--hack and slash gameplay as well.

Infamous 1&2: you can call this a third person shooter if you want. Just keep in mind you are shooting bolts of electricity from your hands and not bullets from a gun. A sandbox game, too!

also, some exclusives to look forward to: The Last of Us; The Last Guardian; Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix;

Thanks yea The Last of Us is one of the games I'm looking foward to most this year

That along with Beyond Two Souls, Bioshock: Infinite, Tomb Raider, and GTA5

Hence why I bought a PS3.

Yea Little Big Planet 2 and Infamous 2 "came with the system" as part of the year of PS+.

Im thinking LB2 could be a good co-op game to play with the girlfriend.

I didn't even know there was a Kingdoms Hearts HD coming out definitely have to grab that.

Trying to think of games not already mentioned lol. If you like tactical JRPGs Agarest Generations Of War (which is PSN only in the US I believe), Agarest Zero and Agarest 2 are quite good.

PS3 also has the best version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

White Knight Chronicles II isn't bad, and it includes the first game aswell.

For non platform specific RPGs you might not have played, look up Neir (extremely underated) and Resonance Of Fate.

Agarest Generations of War is download only through PSN here in North America but since the PS3 is region free you can just import the Pal version if you want a retail copy. You can even get it from Amazon...

Definitely is! My girlfriend and I just had a blast going through the story and then even more with the user created levels. The user-content makes it easy to find something that both of you will enjoy since there's an incredible variety to the types of game modes.
