my NES has been staying with me for more than 20 years, from my childhood (1989) till now. I admit since my keen are more in PC gaming & PlayStation, I've abandoned my NES for a long, long time. the last year I remember playing my NES was in 1996. Only at this year, I took it out from my wardrobe (together with its original box & manual) I founded that it was badly yellowed. I've tried using Retrobrite method for many times, but its only for temporary, then after 2 or 4 months it become yellow again. any other solution to get rid this annoying yellow on my NES? here the pic of my yellowed NES.![]() http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/546583_455235847843046_1893077268_n.jpg Edited by Ruby Moon, Mar 18 2013, 09:01 AM.

Looks like the black parts have faded to a gray as well. I'd say as far as getting rid of yellowing, a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser may help you a bit. |

Hmmm, never heard or seen an NES with a gray bar instead of black, but yeah, I used a magic eraser on a Dreamcast and it came out looking new. |

I might have to use a magic eraser on my dreamcast, it is horribly ugly yellow. Very dark. |
