What's up, Lil Bub? Welcome back to another Rad Rascals episode, and this one gets a bit ranty. The burning topic this week is Microsoft's "Always Connected" debacle on Twitter, as well as the epic fan backlash that ensued. Other topics covered include the Evil Dead remake, some of the games we've been playing and Ben's full-on hate rant against Ticketmaster for thwarting his concert-going plans. It's an energetic and unpredictable episode, so sit back, crack and cold one and enjoy Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inxjxvp9YnU JOIN OUR FORUM: http://radrascals.com/forum/ Question of the Week Do you feel that consumer feedback can help influence the decisions that Microsoft, Sony et al will make with the next generation of consoles? SUB QUESTION: What should we do to celebrate our 50th episode? We want listener feedback on how we can mark this special occasion. Let us know your thoughts! |

Q1: I think this could be said for basically any company with their product consumers, but consumer/customer feedback is essential for any successful product. How will the company know what the people want without actually asking the people for their opinions? With that said, Sony and Microsoft need to listen to the wants and desires of their loyal gaming fan bases to know what to put out for their next gen systems. Right now, Nintendo is a prime example of what NOT to do. They are trying to reach out to a different gaming market, and while they are failing at this, their target audience from the years before (the family friendly gaming market) is also hurt, because they are not putting out enough games for that market. So yes, feedback is a critical part of a successful game console. Sub Question: Hermit Crabs. Hermit Crabs will help with the 50th episode special. Turtles will contribute too, but Hermit Crabs win. |
