My Xbox is giving me grief!; It doesn't work well

Recently, as in a few months ago, it started being really picky about what it will play. I get dirty/damaged disc messages one games that are clean as can be, yet it will read a copy of Otogi that looks like it was rubbed with steel wool. I have tried a lens cleaner to no avail. Any ideas short of buying a another one?

That said you can probably find a working original xbox for 30-40 max probably even cheaper and with a bunch of games if you buy locally. Edited by PhD, Jul 8 2014, 04:16 PM.
