 Welcome the latest of my community endeavors. Some of you may know that Animal Crossing: New Leaf was and is my most anticipated game of 2013. As a result, I plan to get wholly sucked into the game and dedicate myself to buying all the greatest furniture, customizing my town and doing whatever other features this new installment offers. Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be released this Sunday, June 9, 2013 in North America. I thought it would be fun to organize an offical Pete's Game Room Forum Community Club for Animal Crossing: New Leaf in celebration of the game and to promote its longevity in our community. If you plan on purchasing Animal Crossing: New Leaf soon and would be interested, please post below saying that you would like to join the club, along with your friend code for future reference. In this club, we will organize meet-ups, trades and perhaps even auctions if this garners enough interest. I'll do my best to manage these things so that we can all have fun in the AC world together. We will have some limitations in terms of meeting up in this game, of course. Since I don't have my hands on the game yet, I can't be sure of the specifics exactly, but I do know that it will only allow for four people max in one town as it had in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk. In light of this roadblock, I plan on incorporating a sort of system for the club which I think could prove to be fun and make this consistently exciting for the community. If enough members join, I will host a sort of raffle system for each organized community day where the participants will be randomized and assigned to several groups if need be. For instance, if there were 16 members of the club participating, there would be 4 groups made up of 4 people each which would each be communicating in their own towns. To keep us all further connected, we could also offer Skype as a nice way of talking for those of us that would be up for that sort of thing. As I said earlier, I would even be willing to organize official auctions within the club if we had enough interest. Thanks guys! Although optional, you may also tell your Skype username for future reference. Once the game is released, I will also gather town info from everyone as well. MEMBERS

The only reason I didn't include my friend code is because I haven't decided if I want to buy another 3DS for New Leaf (that sounds crazy if you don't know me and my past with Animal Crossing xD). |

You know I'm a big AC fan as well, but I just thought the design of the New Leaf 3DS was pretty poor and could have been a lot better, so it's still not worth it for me. |

I wasn't planning on getting this but a bunch of my friends bought it and they decided that I had to play with them so they bought me a copy and sent it my way. It sure is Animal Crossing. I'll post up my friend code later. My native fruit is cherries. |

You guys may also post your town names or native fruits if you'd like! If we get the time, we could all keep updated lists of our townspeople here as well! That way we know if anyone ever moves between two towns or what not. This should be a blast if we can get some meetups going! I'm going to keep track of my daily progress from now on! Cool game so far. I don't really know how I feel about the real time system in the game. Pretty much makes you play the game in moderation over a long period of time. I need to wait until tomorrow to put my down payment, but I have 22k right now. I bought myself a cavalier shirt and some aviator shades(pilot glasses or something like that in game). There was no bug net for me to buy, but I bought a shovel/fishing pole and have found some fossils and a bunch of fish. I got a perfect apple also and sold it to some chump for 1k. He was like omg this chair is so cool should I buy it? I told him no and then he saw my apple and I told him to buy it XD. I was going to visit pokemon's town, but he logged off. My name is Son Goku and my town is called WestCity. Half the girls in the town want me, so we will see how this turns out... |

It's pretty jarring how the game is just like "You're the mayor!" "What? No." "Don't be silly..." The game should have you start off as a citizen and then after a few days it could be like "wow you're so cool we all talked about it and we want you to be the mayor!". But I digress.
