I wasn't a huge fan of GTA IV tbh, but this one definitely looks promising. Post your thoughts on the game here! Please use spoiler tags when necessary. Amazon just dropped it off, picked up some beers and will be playing shortly

It was like the first weekend or something and my like 2nd PS3 game iirc. I didn't really care for IV and I thought it was pretty clunky at best and very inaccessible to someone who hadn't played many of their games. I had no intention of buying V but after reading several reviews and having 4 local friends buy it and rave about it (people who would rather play Mario or Rayman than anything else) I had to check it out for myself. Last night bought a 12 pack of Angry Orchard in the can and got further into the story. Have to say... I really like this game. It feels like the game I wanted III, Vice City and San Andreas to be and the game IV should have been. There are some technical issues I have with some mechanics but overall I think it is well worth my purchase.

Posts: 813 Group: Members Member #4,869 Joined: Mar 15, 2012	I'm really enjoying it (not that that is suprising to me) one of the best games this year, and of the generation for sure (definately not THE best though). The story is often hilarious, but kinda dumb at the same time (a couple of "but why the hell would he do that?" moments). And i'm starting to get to that point I do in all GTA games where you realise the world really isn't as interactive as you want it to be. Not that i'm not loving it though. I've got to say that heists are my favourite new gameplay element. I've played three of them now but in all honesty my favourite is still the first job (I won't spoil it :P). Everything else (apart from the still wonky cover system) has been really tightened up since 4, driving in particular. It's so smooth in comparison, I never understood why they made 4 so.... bouncy. A few of us should link up on PSN to play Online when it launches

Definitely one of my favorite games of this year, and it's by far the best game Rockstar has made this gen. I didn't like GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption at all, but this game just kicks ass. Played about 15 hours so far, any idea how long the campaign is? I really enjoy the heists, and doing drug and weapons trafficking

So that if you have spent $10000000000000's on it you can keep track of it's location easier. Well sometimes it messes up. Thats a boat in the middle of the desert. Good job game! xD That's not the first time it's happened either In other news, I sincerely hope the rumours of being able to buy in game money for GTA Online are false, otherwise I can't see myself playing it much. It would actually make me regret picking the game up full price.

I don't know if the story is better then IV but a way better game all around. my biggest disappoint in the game is the music on the radio but I love the in game music. o yeah Trevor is crazy badass.

There's so much to do from playing a game of tennis with your friends to setting up convenience store robberies, doing missions, racing, skydiving, or just goofing around.
