I'm finally getting into my dreamcast after having one for 5 years. I could never get it to hook up properly to my old TV before I moved but I got a different old school TV and it hooks up without any issues now! I, of course, already have Crazy Taxi 1 & 2. I've also been enjoying Cannon Spike which is a pretty awesome arcade style capcom shooter and I picked up Hydro Thunder since I heard that it was one of the best ports available.

I need some help from some Sega guys. I never grew up with one so please let me know what games are great on the Dreamcast!

Skies of Arcadia, the Sonic Adventure games, Chu Chu rocket, Power Stone, Jet Set Radio, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Typing of the dead, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and Grandia 2 are games i'd recommend.

I planned on getting ChuChu Rocket & Skies of Arcadia. Those racing games look pretty sweet and cheap so I'll probably pick them up. I've never played any Legacy of Kain game but I've heard good things about em.

I've played all Grandia games on the Playstations so I don't think i'll be picking that one up. I also am not a fan of fighters. Dynamite Cop looks awesome though, just wish it was a little cheaper :l Is it worth the $20?

I would say yes but I am a die hard beat em up fan, Soul Reaver is the best on Dreamcast way better than the ps1 version

Sega Does What Nintendon't

Record Of Lodoss War for the Dreamcast is a very good underrated Diablo clone Action / RPG.

The only thing I didn't like about the game this review mentions... The Blacksmith saying "a mighty spell" over and over when you are upgrading equipment. The rest of the voice work didnt really bother me. The Blacksmith wouldn't of bothered me if it wasn't for hearing that 1000's of times during the course of playing this game.

I cant recommend this game enough as its one of the better Diablo clones I have played on a console!

IMO Dynamite Cop is totally worth $20! its more or less Die Hard Arcade 2. You can get the Japanese version (Dynamite Deka 2) for around $10. Its easy to play imports on Dreamcast.

I would recommend the Arcade stick as a first purchase. The fighters and SHMUPS run great with this!

Agreed! Although, I would say that the stick is more geared towards fighting games (as opposed to shmups) as it has a rather loose feel reminiscent to a Sanwa JLF stick. The buttons also feel more like Sanwa components than Seimitsu.
