I SUCK AT GAMES Posts: 3,048 Group: Members Member #1,200 Joined: Aug 29, 2009 Currently Playing Horizon: Zero Dawn	What are your go to horror/favorite games to get in the spirit of Halloween? Post up anything related to horror stuff or Halloween themed! For me this year I want to finally complete Resident Evil Remake on the GC, and Resident Evil 6. I beat RE1 on PS1 like 16 years ago but have never beaten the beautiful Gamecube remake. I'm also really stoked for Hallows End to start up again in World of Warcraft! That and the Brewfest are by far my favorite times to play WoW. I can't wait to fight the Headless Horseman this year since I hit lvl 90. If anyone wants to give it a shot hit me up, would love to kill that fucker this year! The scariest game for me was definitely Condemned Criminal Origins. That game was fucking awesome! I beat it in one sitting and nearly shat myself during the underground subway, and department store sections. Such a great overlooked game! Real shame that the sequel was so terrible in comparison. I've always been interested in them though, and want to get into the genre a bit more. I picked up Corpse Party in a recent PSN sale, so think I'll check it out around Halloween =p Anyone played Corpse Party or got any recommendations for noobs to horror games like me? Look no further, go buy Outlast on Steam, by far the most terrifying experience I've had since, well, ever. No other horror game has made me seriously consider turning it off because it scared me so much, just the fact that you can't fight back just makes it so much more terrifying.

Definitely Dead Space! I didnt find it to be as scary as most people but its a great horror game to start with. Amazing graphics, terrific ambiance, and great gameplay mechanics. A lot of horror games tend to have clunky controls so this would be a good game to start with. Ive heard of Outlast and it sounds amazing! Does it happen to be compatible with Mac?

Castlevania-thon '13 is about to begin! The first three games on the schedule are Super Castlevania IV, Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia.

Love that game, it definitely had some jump scares in there! I thought Extraction Point and FEAR 2 were both excellent as well. Perseus Mandate and FEAR 3 were pretty lame though :/

Anime Fan, Handheld Lover, VN Nut Posts: 1,553 Group: Members Member #5,081 Joined: May 23, 2012	I'm generally not too huge on horror, but with the humble bundle I just got Dead Space, and i've really enjoyed Corpse Party + BoS and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I've never had any Halloween traditions, i guess the holiday isn't that appealing to me.

I own Dead Space 1 & 2 because they were on sale but I haven't played much of them. But from what I did play it was pretty scary at times. I also like Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I haven't played the second one though.

So happy, I love Resident Evil 4 but never managed to beat it until now despite trying so hard on GC, PS2 and now 360. It's always been a really difficult game for me. Going to try and get the Chicago Typewriter and wreck shit my next time through

Didn't get his mount unfortunately but I did get his helmet Going to try again for his mount tomorrow. If anyone wants to kill him lets join up! I'm a level 90 tank on MoonGuard. If you're just starting WoW and are on MoonGuard let me know! I'll hook you up with gold to start out with.
