Since there are so many DBZ fans on this forum, I think there should be a thread for it. As with many of my threads, be open with your discussion but I will put some bullet points that you can answer. Favorite Character: Goku Favorite Saga: Saiyan Favorite Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD9OtJqog08 Favorite Fight: Original Goku vs Vegeta Favorite Moment: Gohan goes Super Saiyan 2 Most Emotional Moment: So tough..either Gohan Super Saiyan 2 or Vegeta's Sacrifice Dub vs Sub: Sub Falcouner vs Original Score: Original Score, though Bruce has some amazing tracks(some are horrid though). Worst Saga: Garlic Jr. Which character are you: I choose Gohan because everyone says I am Gohan. When I spike my hair up it is naturally just like his also, which is pretty funny. Honestly I haven't really cared for DBZ in years so I'll answer as if I was the kid I was when I watched the thing and was a pretty big fan. Favorite Character: Vegeta Favorite Saga: Cell games Saga maybe. Never really preferred one over the others. Favorite Song: Vegeta's Theme Favorite Fight: I don't know. Maybe Majin Vegeta vs Goku. Favorite Moment: Don't know. Most Emotional Moment: I don't think I ever got very emotionally invested. Dub vs Sub: Dub. One of the very few animes that I prefer the dub over sub. Well since Dragon ball is pretty much just one series and not like over here in america I guess I will ask my question in here I have been wanting to start collecting Dragon ball stuff I have every series (yes even the god awful GT series) on my pc but the question is should I get the Blue Dragon Ball Bricks or should I just say fuck it and just watch it on my pc. |

Blue Bricks are in 4:3 and quality. They are very cheap also, so they are worth a buy. The quality isn't as good as the Dragon Box, but they are still solid. I wish they would just release the Dragon Boxes for the original Dragon Ball. GT..don't get me started. |

I have been looking around and I see they are zoomed in, not cropped but just zoomed in a bit because of bad film masters and some say that the audio is pretty bad....what I would love would be dragon ball on bluray with the way they did the level set but actually finish the series. I mean come on the Level set was amazing even the trailer gets me pumped up |

It's so f'ing brutal. Dub vs Sub: Dub. S'what I grew up with so it's probably pure nostalgia. Favorite Saga: Saiyan Saga Favorite Song: Vegeta's theme Favorite Fight: Original Vegeta vs Goku (Honorable mention goes to Android 17 vs Piccolo; such an underrated fight) Favorite Moment- Vegeta's badassary seen here: Most emotional moment: Probably Vegeta's Sacrifice followed closely by this: Dub vs Sub: Dub Falcouner vs Original Score: Falcouner Worst Saga: Garlic Jr. Which Character are you? Vegeta. I seem like the cocky guy with an attitude who can never achieve the greatness of someone else despite working harder. If you can't tell I love Vegeta's character. Ahh this topic seems very cool, love hearing others' opinions. Here's my answers for the questions. Favorite Character: Vegeta Favorite Saga: Cell Games Favorite Song: Cha La Head Cha La by Gino Padilla, imo quite possibly the best DBZ opening ever. Heck I love it more than Rock the Dragon. Ya guys have to check it out. Favorite Fight: Maybe Vegito vs Majin Buu Favorite Moment: Goku turning Super Saiyan 1 Most Emotional Moment: Gohan dying in The History of Trunks Dub vs Sub: Funimation Dub Falcouner vs Original Score: It's hard for me to remember what the original score was like so I'll choose Falcouner Worst Saga: N/A because I haven't seen Garlic Jr. nor other fillers I believe Which character are you: Hercule because I suck and I'm a loser, and yes I called him Hercule because Mr. Satan kinda sounds kinda fucked up for a character name. |

This seems fun  Favorite Character: Goku or Gohan. I'm pretty nostalgic for both Favorite Saga: Cell Games. The final showdown and the build up to it throughout the cell games was great. Favorite Song: We Gotta Power. Both openings were great but I did prefer the 2nd. Favorite Fight: Final Form Freiza VS Goku. I remember watching it on TV and just waiting for the next episode every day. Favorite Moment: Goku chosing to stay behind to fight Freiza after turning Super Saiyan just to rid the universe of him and potentially sacrifice himself on a dying planet. Most Emotional Moment: Tough one. Possibly Gohan having to face Cell in the cell games in the final form after Goku died, alone and badly wounded. Dub vs Sub: I like both. I originally watched it in dub and saw some in sub later. Sub for epic fights but I think I like dub more overall. Falcouner vs Original Score: I don't know the difference D:! I guess I'm not a hardcore enough fan lol Worst Saga: Most filler saga's were terrible. The show ran so long as it was, it really wasn't needed to add filler sagas at all. Not including filler, anything past the cell games. Didn't care for the series much after that. Which character are you: I would say Tien. Tien is always furthering himself in his training in some way, even in the middle of the Majin Boo Saga where he was the only one who was able to come help. I seem to always try to work on something new or further myself in some way. |
