Legend of Dragoon has always been at the top of the list for me. I played the game when it first came out in 2001 and, despite a sequel being on the radar, the IP has been left at the top of the mountain to die. This is unfortunate, since Legend of Dragoon is a fantastic RPG that would benefit from a sequel. Most of the posts here seem to be about Nintendo, and I definitely echo some of the titles listed. F-Zero is a big one, since I loved the original F-Zero on the SNES and especially the GBA game that came out later. What I also wish they would do is perhaps release a new Metroid game in the classic 2D style with HD visuals, as they have with Mario. Failing that, a new game in the vein of Metroid Prime. The three Metroid Prime games were fantastic, but the less said bout Other M, the better. From this past generation, I'm hoping that we'll see new entries from Fable and Alan Wake. |

I loved Alan Wake. They were supposed to be working on a sequel, weren't they? Or did American Nightmare take that spot? |

American Nightmare was essentially a stand-alone DLC game, too short to be considered a full-fledged entry into the series. I remember hearing that they were considering a sequel and wanted to take their time with it, so that's at least a sign that the IP hasn't been abandoned. |

Timesplitters. On the condition that they don't make the graphics too 'real' and concentrate on the underlying humor the franchise thrives off. I am just imagine playing Future Perfect online and that gives me tingles. I would obviously love to see Fable as well, but maybe this time they can take it back in time, to before Fable 1. I enjoyed the industrial revolution theme of 3 but wouldn't mind going old school again. Actually scrap that just make an awesome Fable MMO and I will sell you my soul. |
