So I picked this up about a year ago and just popped it in two days ago.

Awesome.

Beating the shit out of people has never been so satisfying. I will say though, the game can be quite hard at times. I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome recommendation as I would not have gotten it without Andy mentioning it so many times lol

Andy and I have similar tastes in games. Talk more about quirky or awesome titles that no one's heard of Andy so I can buy them!

I know it's the understatement of the year, but the PS2 had some many games that were mediocre, if not for how fucking zany they are.

God Hand, while it reviewed extremely poorly, and had a steep learning curve (and even steeper boss battles at times) is such a rewarding experience. I first played it during one of my bro weekends, with copious amounts of booze, just passing the pad to and from my best friend every 10 minutes or so. Just loved it to death.

One game I am absolutely dying to try is:

R.A.D. (Robot Alchemic Drive)

Wanna peep this so BAD.

Totally late to the reply on here, sorry :P

The boss fights are incredibly difficult sometimes. It took probably about 20mins to defeat the annoying mini power rangers lol

I've seen R.A.D. before for cheap but I never knew it was a rare or desirable game. It looks sweet though and I like the feature of having a dude on the ground that you can control with the giant beasts fighting.

I picked up Blood Will Tell for the PS2 a few months back and haven't tried it out yet but I'm a sucker for Samurai stuff. The game actually looks pretty good from the back cover.

Have you tried Pocky & Rocky for the SNES? It's a side scrolling shooter/platformer(?) with some wacky characters and enemies. It gives a Mystical Ninja feel to it but not nearly as wacky. I know you liked Mystical Ninja and I definitely think it's worth a shot if you haven't tried it.
