What do you guys think about this feature, and do you think it could actually be beneficial by making online games more civil? Instead of having little racist shitheads trash talking you all of the time.

Personally I think it's fucking horseshit and just adds another creepiness factor to the Kinect for me...also that sentence shows I tend to curse a lot so I'd be getting penalized like crazy in every game I play xD

Sega Does What Nintendon't

I totally think this is BS.... It's the parents that need to be involved with what there kids are doing and how they interact online not Microsoft's!

Online interactions not rated by the ESRB! That is clearly printed on the box and is there to show the parents that online don't and cant be rated because its "live" so why are they enforcing these Nazi policies.

I'm torn on this topic to be honest. Believe me I have no issue using foul language amongst my circle of friends and cursing in it self doesn't bother me unless it's crazy excessive.

But, I hardly ever partake in online gaming solely because of adolescent little trash talking shits or even ignorant sexist racist adults. If I do play online it has to be pre organized to just involve people in my friends list and that's sad. Because it not for the idiots I mentioned above I would probably meet some good decent other gamers online to play games with.

How to police it though I don't know. If every game online punished for cursing then we'd probably all be forced to offline only. Something has to be done though because like it or not; responsibility or not; tons of parents let their latchkey hormone spiked up kids do whatever they want including having access to all adult rated games and Xbox live/PSN.

I got mixed feelings on it. I've ALWAYS been turned off of the idea of playing online for the sole reason of having idiots say really nasty things and the idea of little kids trash talking like they're adults. I think having that removed entirely would make online enjoyable for me.

Having it enforced makes me wonder how it would be done. If there's someone on the other side of the console watching a ton of people and monitoring it, would be weird. Having the system listen for key phrases or words and ban based on that, may be nice but could be problematic if it restricts by hearing phrases out of context.

The idea of it is great to me. Maybe include an option to remove it for a group of friends that always meet up kind of thing. I don't know, I don't really go online so I can't say I know how it operates as it is lol

The thing is this guy wasn't playing online. He was playing a career mode. Singleplayer. And they fouled him because the Kinect heard him curse. What are they trying to enforce in singleplayer? It makes no sense.

They had this feature on NBA 2K13 with the Kinect also. I don't see what the big deal about it is.
