As some of you may know, in the last couple of years I have grown an absurd amount of love for the developer Telltale Games. I hadn't played a game from them until The Walking Dead, but from there I was in love. The Walking Dead was/is one of my favorite games of the 7th generation. With the first episode alone, Telltale blew me away yet again with The Wolf Among Us. Soon I hope to go back to their earlier titles I missed out on (albeit less critically accliamed), like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Sam & Max, etc.. Now I'd just like to emphasize how quickly Telltale is growing into a behemoth developer this generation, after being held in high regard for mostly just The Walking Dead. Just take a look at how many titles they have on their plate for 2014... The Walking Dead: Season Two - TRAILER The beloved Walking Dead Telltale has become so known for is receiving its beloved second set of episodes, gearing to be released in 2014. The only thing we know is that the ... The Wolf Among Us I'm not sure at all if this is planned for release right before the end of 2013 or right at the beginning of 2014, but we do know that the second episode of The Wolf Among Us is evident. If you were a fan of The Walking Dead, definitely jump on the first episode ASAP because it actually hits the ground running way faster than The Walking Dead did. The second episode of a series may not be as ambitious as the beginning of a whole new season, but it is certainly something to look forward to for Telltale fans. Tales from the Borderlands - TRAILER This was an incredibly surprising yet intriguing announcement to me. Little to nothing is known about this game except for the fact that it is obviously going to take place in the world of Borderlands. It was definitely an interesting business move for Telltale to collaborate with Gearbox like this because I am sure there is so much potential. I am just really wondering how they will be able to pull this off in the classic Telltale manner with such a barren world. It was also a logical move for Telltale to pick Borderlands of all series to work with because if they want to keep with their cel-shaded graphics style, their job is pretty much done for them. Game of Thrones - TRAILER Nothing is known of this game aside for the obvious basis of Game of Thrones. I personally just watched the first season of Game of Thrones on DVD earlier this year and absolutely fell in love with the show. It is already one of my favorite shows now, so I am really hoping I can catch up all the way by the time this game is released because, even if it is like The Walking Dead and has no relation whatsoever, I won't have to worry at all. I was so excited that they announced this, but since they showed no gameplay or even cutscenes/dialogue, I have no idea what to expect and have no idea how they plan to mesh Telltale with the Game of Thrones world. So, what are your thoughts? Are you excited for any of these titles? Do you think they are taking on too much at once? I'd really love to hear anything you guys have to say. You should pick up and try Back to The Future! If your a fan of the movies you will totally love this game its just like your playing a 4th installment in the series. Back to The future is my favorite movie of all time and the telltale game didn't disappoint! The voice acting, story and even the art style were all very well done! ![]() I am dying to play The Wolf Among Us but I hate the way there games are episodes. I will probaly wait till the game is finished so I can just play it like a normal game rather than having to wait. Edited by majinpowers, Dec 12 2013, 11:27 PM.

The Walking Dead: Season Two I did enjoy the first season but I kind of like the way that ended and don't feel like I needed more. I guess there is just that feeling to end things on a high note and the fear that this could screw that up. That being said I will most likely play it at some point. The Wolf Among Us: Episode Two I enjoyed The Walking Dead despite the zombies and depressing themes, not because of it. So I am excited to get my hands on this but I will wait until they are all out until I start. Tales from the Borderlands I thought Borderlands was an interesting choice. Not that I necessarily dislike the story or world of Borderlands but I feel that there are a lot of other game universe that I would rather visit then Borderlands. I will still be keeping an eye on this one. Game of Thrones Not a big Game of Thrones fan |

Back to the Future is my favourite movie trilogy ever so I think I am going to have to pick up this game. I also loved the Walking Dead S1 and am looking foreword to S2. Their art style is definitely in line with the Borderlands universe and i am looking forward to playing an adventure in that world in 3rd person. I haven't tried the Wolf Among US as of yet but I'm thinking it may have to make its way onto my to buy list. Great post, glad you guys shed some light on their lesser known games too. |

So, I completed Episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us last night... Maybe slightly worse than the first one (though considering the first one was stellar, that's not too bad), but features some excellent character development, crazy twists, and a particularly creepy atmosphere at a point. |

I got episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us, haven't started playing it yet. Episode 1 was very interesting. I really liked the art direction. Telltale is a great studio so far. I'm a *big* fan of the Sam & Max franchise, and I really liked Back To The Future, as well as Jurassic Park: The Game. Let's hope the excellence continues.

I'm starting to wonder when Telltale really plans on releasing these new series. It's tough enough for them to stay on track with the release of their two series now, so I don't see how they will be able to fit the other two into the schedule soon. |

Has there been any mention of a physical release for Wolf Among Us? It looks really cool but I feel a bit burned after Walking Dead released one after I bought all the episodes digitally :/ |

No, but they also didn't mention the physical release of The Walking Dead at all before its release. I think it's almost a guarantee that they will do a physical release. Maybe they'll have a collector's edition and throw in some Fables graphic novels like they did with The Walking Dead Compendium in that collector's edition. It's reasonable that you would wait for a physical release, but my love for Telltale is a little unhealthy at this point because I'm getting all of the digital versions as well as the physical version most likely, this time. |

If you buy the episodes direct from Telltale for the PC / Mac then you can "upgrade" and get the retail/collectors version of the game for the cost of shipping. A Wolf Among US gets a physical release for the PC / Mac when season 2 is finished according to there web page. So if you want the retail copy the best thing to do is buy the episodes from them for the PC / Mac and then you can get the physical version for "shipping". It was around $10.00 each for physical copies of the games I have got from them and they came with lots of cool stuff. Jurassic Park came boxed up just like if you got hired from the park and they sent you a package with everything a new employee would get. Also all the physical copies I have got are DRM Free! ![]() There web page don't say anything about the console ports getting a physical release. There supposedly doing a season 2 to Back to the Future at some point as well. Christopher Lloyd has said he will reprise his role as Doc Brown and Back to the Future was there biggest game until The Walking Dead was released. I hope they find time to get these games out and they don't lack any quality or anything due to being rushed. Edited by majinpowers, Apr 27 2014, 04:27 PM.

It's crazy how much a difference one game makes. Telltale was barely a significant developer before The Walking Dead, with most of their games receiving fairly mixed reviews for the most part. The Walking Dead came out and they suddenly became a reputable company with consistently well-received games. They managed to get ahold of the Walking Dead branding and now they have access to Borderlands and Game of Thrones, two huge brands that will surely help their popularity even further. I'm with you in that I hope their quality remains consistent along with their release schedule. |

They will send a e-mail to you before the retail version is released. You just log into the sight click on the retail game like you are going to buy it giving you the option of paying shipping only for any of the games you have bought full seasons for with your account. I'm curious what are you guys hoping to see with Tales from the Borderlands? Characters in particular that you want to see fleshed out? I played the hell out of Borderlands 1 and got about half-way through Borderlands 2 but I never really thought the storyline or characters were anything special. Definitely funny moments but the characters mainly just felt like caricatures to me. I'm just curious about what stood out to you guys with it, and what you're hoping to see with TellTale's take on that world. Also where's my fuckin Episode 4 of Wolf Among Us!????? Argh :[ I want more! Edited by NinjaPenguin8969, May 14 2014, 07:08 PM.

Personally, I don't really have any specific things I want to see. I'm actually well into the middle of playing Borderlands on co-op with my brother right now, then eventually we can move onto the sequel which we also own. But overall I'm not too sure on what's going on with the story and am not all that interested in that game. I think it could really work well with Telltale's style of gameplay, and obviously the graphics are a perfect fit. I feel like putting a moral compass and choices into most scenarios can make it interesting with the way Telltale does it. Borderlands seems like it has more interesting backstory to offer, too. As for Episode 4... It's coming very soon! Release dates: May 27th - PC/Mac, PS3 in North America May 28th - Xbox 360 May 29th - iOS Looks good! |

I have always liked the story and characters in Borderland well enough for those games but gameplay would be my interest in borderlands more than the story. Telltale known more for narrative driven games Borderlands wouldn’t be my first choice and I don’t know how much I need to explore the “lore” of borderlands. All that being said, because of “The Walking Dead” everyone thinks drama when they think Telltale but they did do “The Tales of Money Island” and “Back to the Future” in the past. So it is not like they have never done funny before. The Borderlands game will definitely be a wait and see for me but I am not dismissing it. |

Woo 3 hours to go until Episode 4 comes out! :] So excited. Definitely seems like it's going to be the peak episode for the storyline. Still debating on whether I want season two of Walking Dead or not. Seems pretty mixed but most opinions seem to say it's not as good as the first one. Still though that's a pretty hard game to follow lol. |

Gah, I nearly forgot Episode 4 was coming out this week! Also, take my word for it, play Season 2! As someone who loved the first season and put it on a pedestal as GOTY 2012, I still am able to love Season 2, despite some of its flaws and inconsistencies. I honestly found Episode 3 of Season 2 to be one of the most gripping episodes they have done yet. If you cared at all about the first season, you owe it to yourself to continue the journey. I have no idea where it could go next. |
