Guys I made some extra money through a christmas bonus so I was going to invest in a gaming laptop. I am stuck between the Razer Blade and the Gigabyte P34G. I can afford either one but I am having a hard time making up my mind. Both have positives and negatives... the blade has a pretty bad screen but makes up in design and performance while the P34G is 600 dollars less yet has a better screen but lacks a bit of the performance. Any advice from the pc guys on here? Ill be making up my mind in the next few days. Thanks for any help. |

Myself I would go with a MSI if I was going to invest that much money into a gaming laptop. They have more bang for the buck and I consider them a proven and trusted company. I do like Razer's mice and keyboards I don't know if I would trust them on a laptop or not yet. My recommendation to anyone looking to get a gaming laptop would be a MSI GT70 model. here is a link to there flagship laptop on newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152395 check it out and the other MSI laptops. |

Gigabyte P34G. The specs are the same, and the screen is much much better. My favorite PC site Anandtech, recommends it. It's a nice slim gaming laptop, and it's great, with a good quality screen. It might not look as nice, or have the name brand, but it's a better experience. |

Yeah... everything I have read about the P34G is it is almost everything the Blade is, but it just doesnt have the same eye catching ability. Plus the thing has a 2 year warranty. Majin I was looking at MSI as well but im really in to this whole "Ultrabook" gaming laptop thing that Razer and Gigabyte are going for. |

Decided to go with the p34g. It will run everything I need and is good for work as well. |
