I'm totally stoked for the Yoshi Yarn game that's coming out. I'm leaving myself in the dark on it, haven't even checked release date yet but Kirby Epic Yarn was a game that I thoroughly enjoyed for the Wii and has been on my list since I knew of it. Hyrule Warriors, as stated in the topic I created for it, is a 100% system seller for me as well. I'm also looking forward to getting Super Mario 3D World. The more I hear about it, the more I think I'm going to like it. Just hearing that it is close to Mario 64 or Galaxy is honestly enough for me to buy it. |

Monolith Soft's "X". The trailer seriously hypes me for it. It looks like a mix between Monster Hunter and ZOE/Mech gameplay. Plus multiplayer? Ohheckyes. Hyrule Warriors! Not a lot of people are into this game but a Dynasty Warriors styled game with a Zelda motif? It's like one of my favorite franchises crossing over into one of my guilty pleasure franchises xD I won't have to pick up a DW game anytime soon since I can get my fix when Hyrule Warriors comes out. Just a side note, You have to get Super Mario 3D World my friend, it is an AMAZING game. Honestly, it's probably my favorite Mario game in years and I've loved and enjoyed Galaxy/3D Land/etc. |

Bayonetta 2! Also a new Zelda game and Twilight Princess HD. It'll never happen but that is my favorite Zelda game so I'll keep dreaming. Hyrule Warriors looks cool I'm just wary due to how quickly I get bored of the Dynasty Warriors formula.

Let's see... Physical releases: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - This may seem weird, but the new David Wise soundtrack really sold me on this one. Hyrule Warriors - Never played any of the Warriors games, but I enjoy my arcade-style action. And Zelda. Monolith Soft's 'X' - Well, it looks like Xenoblade, and that's a good thing. Bayonetta 2 - Never played the original, but it looks like a fun action game. Between this, Hyrule Warriors and Wonderful 101, I wonder if the Wii U will revive beat-em-ups the same way the original Wii revived light gun shooters. (Are you paying attention, Sega? The Wii U needs Streets of Rage 4 and a new Golden Axe!) Untitled Legend of Zelda - Again, I enjoy my Zelda. Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem - Not much known about this except that it's a traditional RPG. I'm really just curious more than anything. Hope it comes to North America. Strangely, I'm not particularly excited for the new Smash Bros, and I'm not a big Mario Kart fan. Digital releases: Pac-Man Museum - Nine Pac-man games in one package, including Championship Edition, Battle Royale, and the oft-forgotten Arrangement. Shame it doesn't include Ms. Pac-man and Jr. Pac-man. Oddworld: New 'N Tasty - Never played an Oddworld game, but I kinda miss these so-called "cinematic platformers." Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey - I think a lot of people don't realize this is coming to Wii U. As of now, the Wii U is the only console confirmed for a port. Mighty No. 9 - I put some money into this, so why not, eh? Shantae: Half-Genie Hero - Yeah. Edited by Nester, Dec 28 2013, 01:20 PM.

@lildeadboy23 - I thought Galaxy was amazing. I did like Mario 3D Land but I did not think it was in the same caliber as Mario 64/Galaxy. It's strange because Mario 3D Land is pretty similar to them but it just didn't capture me the same way. I might be because it's a handheld, I'm not sure. I'm pretty stoked for it though and will definitely pick it up when I get some free time/money. @Nester - I'm honestly not hyped for Mario Kart or Smash Bros either. I really enjoyed both on the Wii and Gamecube but I just haven't felt like I need a new release. I actually have been popping in Melee the last few nights and find that I'm still extremely satisfied playing it. |

Monolith Soft's 'X and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem are the 2 I want the most. I pray we get a western release for these games! I like the Dynasty Warriors series especially the Gundam series and am looking forward to Hyrule Warriors. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - The more video I see for this game the more I want it. Mario Kart 8 - Same as Donkey Kong... The latest trailer on the Nintendo Direct for Dec. really made me want to play the game. sdcpro you have to get Super Mario 3D World. Its such a great game. In fact I would say it is almost my favorite Mario game. If it wasn't for Super Mario World being such a nostalgic game for me I think it would be my favorite. I have had a ton of fun playing through it. @nester I would love to see the Wii U become the new home for beat 'em ups but I don't think games like The Wonderful 101 did very well. Personally I loved The Wonderful 101... Its like playing a Power Rangers / Sailor moon / Godzilla game all mixed together with other stereotypical Hero / Comic Book stuff galore. Commander Nelson reminds me of Captain Gloval from Macross! Sure the game has a steep learning curve but its such a good game after you spend enough time to lean the controls (and the controls are spot on)! Most reviewers gave it bad scores because of the difficulty of the game and probably didn't spend enough time to really figure it out before giving up. Edited by majinpowers, Jan 2 2014, 05:45 AM.
