Level 7 Posts: 1,369 Group: Members Member #1,853 Joined: Mar 31, 2010	I thought I'd start a thread that can lead us up to March 11's release of Dark Souls 2 that we can post strange tales from Lordran. If anyone has something funny, weird or uncommon that happened to you please share. I'll go first. I've never, ever been too lucky with Balder Side Sword, BSS for short, drops. I don't like to spend too much time in Sens and the parish has been an utter bitch for me up until today for drop rates. So I am rolling with a thief I started when a coworker crashed at my house when Alabama shut down for snow and we were trapped in. Yesterday I got a BSS with like 7 humanity on me and after like 2 hours I finally got the first Balder Shield of the play through, my character was 33 so it took a bit of patience. The thing is I resolved myself to not even caring about getting the sword as I am going for an occult claymore and lightning gargoyle halbird build. So I was actually farming for a shield not sword. This morning I woke up and decided to warm up in the parish before farming for green titanite and kill quelag to level up my Faith faster. Right off the bat another BSS. Gods are smiling on me today. Once quelag went down and I had a pocket full of green t. I went back to the parish. Did a run through sens just to get the rings and another soul level and back to the parish. Put on the pyro set to get used to it for when I do another farming round in blight town and had the gold covetous serpent ring on for some titanite shards and BAM two more BSS and Two more balder shields right off the bat making it 4 swords and 3 shields. Today the PS3 Dark Souls pranced me. Now I feel obligated to make a BSS +15 for buffs, a divine +10, an occult +5 and a chaos. Game trolling me hard. Edited by hooflung128, Feb 9 2014, 03:57 PM.
