DS Recommendations?

I have a handful of DS games just now and am looking to get more. I'm hoping to avoid some of the bigger titles like Pokemon and Zelda in order to dig a bit more into some of that massive library so I'm more looking for recomendations for 'hidden gems'.

It might sound like an odd one, especially for the DS, but I hate it when games make you move your character using the stylus (like in Zelda Phantom Hourglass), not sure if many games do this... let me know that too :)

I'm quite intimidated by the DS library as from what I've seen there is quite a lot of... less desirable games out there.

Thanks for any help in advance it is much appreciated, and hopefully I'll become a DS fanatic soon :)

Ds Games!

So many times over the past years on this forum I've given ds recommendations. I should really just make an all inclusive list and save it somewhere. I can start by saying take a look at my backlog and feel free to ask me about any games I've finished already. Secondly, I'm going to go through my past posts and pick out some of the more unknown games and try to put them together into one list. It's getting a little difficult to make a list of the unknown games on the ds, because more and more people are starting to find them, which is a good thing.

Some games I can think of for the time being:

999 (not sure if it's really unknown any more, but not one of the main series on the ds)
Aliens Infestation
Anno 1701
Beat City (decent rhythm game, not as good as others on the ds, but not bad)
Big Bang Mini (fun arcade style game)
The Dark Spire (amazing old school dungeon crawler)
Dementium 1 and 2 (not sure if these are that unknown any more either, good FPS games)
Elite Beat Agents (not really unknown any more, but used to be a hidden gem on the ds)
Emergency Disaster Rescue Squad (check youtube, classic game room has a good review)
Etrian Odyssey series (good but very difficult dungeon crawlers)
Exit DS (fun puzzle game)
Fighting Fantasy (really fun first person role playing type game)
Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light (yes a FF game, but not as well known, more old fashioned)
Flower, Sun and Rain (still cant make any sense of this game)
Ghost Trick (probably not that unknown any more, great animation)
Giana Sisters (decent platforming game, limited US release)
Hotel Dusk and Last Window (not as unknown any more, but great novel type games on ds)
Ivy the Kiwi? (interesting controls for a platforming game, kinda short)
Izuna 1 and 2 (very tough rogue like games but I beat them both, not impossible)
Knights in the Nightmare (check retrocalypses review of this game)
Legend of Kage 2
Little Red Riding Hoods Zombie BBQ (arcade like shooter)
Locks Quest (tower defense with some rpg elements and rts thrown in)
Miami Law (enjoyed it for the story with twists, the action sequences in between suck)
Might and Magic Clash of Heroes
Monster Tale
N+
Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
Ninja Town (great tower defense game)
Nostalgia (interesting rpg with a unique setting)
Orcs and Elves (another first person rpg, not as good as fighting fantasy)
Panzer Tactics (amazing grid based strategy game)
Peggle dual Shot
Radian Historia (not as unknown any more)
Robocalypse (one of the few rts gamers on the ds, decent game)
Scurge (decent action game, a little repetitive)
Super Princess Peach (really good platforming game)
Tokyo Beatdown (side scrolling beat em up game)
Worms Open Warfare 2 (fun worms game on the ds)
