I'm so excited to see the positive reviews coming in for Atelier Escha & Logy! I already had high expectations since Famitsu gave it a 36/40 or 9/10 which is by far the best score they have given a Gust and/or NISA game in recent years.

The early U.S. Reviews have also mostly been 9-9.5/10 with the Lowest I've seen so far being a 'B-'.

I LOVE NIS games and would have bought this game anyway but I'm rabidly salivating to get it now as it appears NIS and Gust really stepped up the level on this entry in the series.

If you've never played an Atelier game it looks like this may just be the perfect one for you to try as the early word is this is the one with the crossover appeal that everyone can enjoy as just a freaking solid/great JRPG period regardless of its niche fanbase roots.

That's quite a feat indeed for the Atelier games. previous ones had bad reviews, but enjoyed them nonetheless. Now i think that I should def. get this one.

I have the LE for the first 2 ones but they are still sealed. I have such a massive backlog, that they are just sitting there. I have heard very mixed things about the series. If someone wants to take the time to convince me to play them, then be my guest.

More info/review scores rolling in and everyone really seems to be digging this entry. Check out this metacritic page for the game. It's an 82 from the critics which is Top 10 on the PS3 list ahead of even the Tales of Symphonia HD release. But the user score really tells the story...8.7/10

Way to go Gust and NIS!!! I'm dying to get this game!!!
