Listened to the podcast going through lower Alabama and Georgia last Saturday. Really helped to make the time fly by. Good episode guys and dayum on your library schorched earth moment. |

A little late but I'll answer the unofficial question of the week. I've played both mario kart 8 and sonic racing transformed, both on the Wii U. I've been told that the sonic racing transformed racing on the Wii U is an inferior version as well with frame rate issues (especially on skies of Arcadia level). Sonic racing transformed is probably my favorite racing game that has come out in a long time. Mario Kart 8 is good but the changes they've brought really don't much different. The customization of mario kart 8 has gotten ridiculous as well, to the point that it's a pain to create the best setup. Sonic keeps it simple with the different kinds of mods to the character you can apply. The first sonic racing was good, but the vehicles transforming is just great. It really does remind me of a great arcade racer as well. I should mention I grew up with mario kart, didn't like Sega that much and still think it's a much superior game. I love the after burner, golden axe, & shinobi levels. The variety in worlds is just awesome. Edited by sdcpro, Dec 7 2014, 09:02 PM.
