Bloodborne has officially sold over one million copies. This is quite the accomplishment since the game is exclusive to the ps4.

For comparison...

As of March 2015 these are the other sales of FROM games.

Demons Souls : 1.77 million sold
Dark Souls : 2.97 million sold (ps3 360 and pc)
Dark souls II : 1.82 (does not include ps4 and xbone)

I hadn't known the exact sale figures for each game, the fact that Dark Souls 1 sold that many is a tell why people think of Dark Souls as the original game to start this series (save King's Field being sort of that). Anyways, that's surprising Bloodborne sold as many as it has, and it's great seeing the PS4 thrive despite Sony's week earnings overall with their other departments and the Vita.

What was more shocking to me is the number of total sales in the series for Sony consoles compared to the 360 and PC. Take a look at sales per system and it's not to crazy to think why FROM would be willing to do more sony exclusives.

Well deserved - it's above-and-beyond PlayStation 4's best exclusive in my eyes. I'd be interested to know how many of those purchases were from people who bought into the high praise and weren't familiar with the Souls formula to begin with, I imagine more than a few people regretted the decision ultimately!
