Back with another heaping plate of rasciality for your enjoyment. On the menu today, listener Q&A and chatting about tattoos. As expected, talk of Andy's Amiibo fetish creeps in and Ben tells the erotic tale of his favorite burger. Oh yeah, and there is video game talk somewhere in the mix.

Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1q020JScdk

As always, the iTunes and MP3 links are in the video description.

Question of the Now

What is your opinion of tattoos? Do you have any, and if so, show us your ink!

Truly sick in the head, cheeky bastards. BTW that signature, you are playing dirty, dirtier than a back alley hooker.

i don't have any tattoos, if I ever got one, it would have to be something that has major significance to me. One of my friends has the Oregon State Logo on his arm, which is where he went to college.

I had listened to this the day it came out and jotted some notes, but never got around to commenting, so I'll do that now.

There was mention of those novel-sized choose your own adventure books. I do not understand the appeal of those. I remember getting a few of the Goosebumps versions of those and just felt cheated. I don't recall having any sense of nerves or spine-tingling fear while reading them. Just stupidly having to go back and forth between pages before I would set them down and reread The Beast from the East, How to Kill a Monster, or the original Monster Blood again. Maybe, those are poor examples, but they have left me with a very sour look at those types of stories/books.

Honestly, I don't mind Patreon. If you think someone is doing some sort of work you believe merits earnings and you have that sort of spare cash, then by all means. You're not forced to do it. If I had the money, I'd totally pass some to Dan Carlin for his work on Hardcore History and Common Sense, because I have been listening to him for years and think his work deserves the praise financially. It's getting to a point where not everyone can work some job in a cubicle or in sales or whatever, let people do what they can to earn money. As long as it's not thievery or criminal, I'm cool with it.

Streets of Rage III is stupid hard. Like, what the fuck? hard. It doesn't help that Koshiro thought it would be a cool time for him to make some random automatic sound program and make the horrendous ear melt that is SoR III's OST.

I did do tourney Smash back in the day and ended up winning one during a convention my college hosted, but I've pretty much fallen off that sort of thing and now just try to be competitive with people I play games against.

As for the tattoo conversation, I don't mind them, but I never plan on getting any. I have a few scars from surgeries for this:

I had the most severe type, no outer structures nor any of the bones. They had to chip bone from my rip cage and carve the 3 inner ear bones. While it is not something I let define me, it is enough of a marker for me on this fleshy sack of blood and soul I call a body:p

That's totally how I feel about Patreon. If someone is willing to voluntarily pay for it, then clearly there is some justification for it, especially when better content is produced as a result.

Also I'm glad my amiibo question saw the light of day. :P
