Surprised this hasn't been made yet aside Nintendo. Post what you think about E3 and your favorite games shown :] So far I'm beyond excited for Doom 4, Fallout 4, and Rare's Pirate game and Collection! Tomb Raider also looks stellar and I hope the final product looks that good. |

Haven't seen the conference yet since I'm at work but what the HELL is Microsoft thinking releasing tomb raider thr same day as fallout 4???? After they were disappointed with the original games release they decided to go up against a game that will destroy it? |

EA – I when into this not expecting much, EA conferences manytimes feel like very standard type of thing. They didn't go to far off the trail but they managed to make it more interesting for me than I thought it would be. Unravel – Some of the things the speaker said felt a little overboard. The string representing life and what not, but still looks like it could be a good game and I am a sucker for a cute puzzle platformers. It was also nice to see EA giving time to what isn't a big budget game and in all likelihood will not be a blockbuster hit. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 – I will admit I never played the first but that gameplay video really interested me. Mirrors Edge Catalyst – I still have some concerns about it being open world but the video I watch looks very much like the mirrors Edge gameplay I want, so I am on board. Star Wars Battlefront 3 - I really can't say anything other than it looks good. Ubisoft – Games aside, I feel like Ubisoft know how to run a presentation better than the others. The people they have speaking, the pasing they have. In all the others I feel like there is a lot of awkward moment, in this one not so much. South Park: The Fractured But Whole – They started off by blowing my mind. I love the stick of truth and I never thought we were going to get another one. For Honor – It looks like it could be fun. Definitly will have to see more but I don't think there are a lot of online vs melee games out their. The Division – I guess I was hoping this wold be closer to a Borderlands than a MMO and it is looking to me to be closer to an MMO. Microsoft – I do not own an XboxOne or PS4 so I am looking for a reason to buy one of them. This didn't do it for me. I know Halo and Gears of War are Microsofts bread and butter but I personaly don't care. Recore – This looks like it could very well be great. The only thing I saw was a trailer, is there any actual gameplay video out? Rare collection – This sounds great, I would buy this if I had a XboxOne, but they need to convince me to buy a XboxOne first. Rise of the Tomb Raider – I do have an interest in this but again I don't know if this is going to convince me to buy an XboxOne. Sony – Sony definitely came closer for me than Microsoft but I didn't quit hit it home for me either. Last Guardian – So they finally announced it. I am happy to see it but this thing had to go through development hell so they have some convincing to do for me Horizon Zero Dawn- I have some concerns about fighting a giant robotic T-Rex with a bow and arrow but I can't argue that it doesn’t look cool. No Mans Sky – I don't know how much time I will end up putting into this game but it does seem like a game I would as least like to try. FF7 Remake – I actually never played this game so this is a good opportunity for me. I did hear him say “first on PS4”, so it sounds like it is not an exclusive. Shenmue 3 – I will admit it I said it would never happen, thought there would be no way in hell. Although it is kind of an odd announcement. They aren't actually announcing a game but that a kickstarter will be happening soon for a game. Edited by Unclever, Jun 15 2015, 11:15 PM.

Unclever, I highly recommend you play PvZ Garden Warfare. I agree it totally looks like a cash in game, but it is so much fun :] I haven't watched much of the Playstation Conference. Was being nerdy and streaming it from my iPad at the bar during the BlackCocks game but I noticed Last Guardian was shown :] |

I'm really blown away by how good Star Wars Battlefront and Doom 4 look. I didn't expect much from either of them but they look so amazing to me! I really expected Battlefront 3 to look shittier like that alpha version from Pandemic that leaked out a few years ago. I'm just happy it looks like 2015 will end on a positive note because quite frankly Witcher 3 is the only game this year I feel is worth mentioning. Granted I didn't nor plan to give BloodBorne a shot since I know I won't like it. |

Holy crap. Sony dropped bombs. I'm in shock. Simply put, they had the best E3 showing of all time. I can't think of another single keynote that comes close. |

Nintendo's conference was absolute trash and even saying that is being kind. They were extremely idiotic having a pre-E3 direct and announcing most of their stuff there and then announcing trash at their digital event. They even had to say they were taking feedback seriously after the event because they had a poll on the official nico nico stream with 70k people on it and about 70% voted that the conference was below average quality.

Sony won for me. I think I want to play every single game they showed off and it was just a perfect conference. Square Enix was also quite amazing this year! Microsoft was pretty good at the end but that $150 controller is a joke and most of their conference was quite boring. Disappointed it's only Gears 1 remastered when it should be the Trilogy remastered :/ Nintendo was okay but nothing really wow-ed me aside Starfox and that Fire Emblem game. Best E3 in years, overall :] |

Microsoft got me warm. Sony got me freaking steamy. Nintendo threw a dampener on it all. Square Enix dropped a fucking thermonuclear bomb on it all with a new Nier. Seriously, best E3 of all time. |

The only conference I watched was Nintendo's, and I really wasn't too impressed with what they had to offer with the exception of Star Fox, a new trailer for Shin-Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem and a release date for Xenoblade. |

So I wasn't really expecting Nintendo to come out with some really big new news, I was hoping for it but I didn't think it was going to happen. Zelda: Triforce Heroes – I have always thought 4 Swords is one of the weakest Zelda games so I am not excited about this. It is a Zelda game so I am still going to buy it, but I wouldn't be happy about when I do. Metroid Federation Forge – A lot of people seem to be upset that this isn't a true Metroid game, just taking place in the world of Metroid. I could be OK with that, my problem has more to do with the small amount of gameplay we saw it looks like the most generic boring shooter I have seem in a long time. Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam – Apparently everyone on this forum was not impressed by this game, I think it looks awesome and the high point for Nintendo for me. It is also good to see Xenoblade Chronicles X get a release date and Yo-Kai Watch get a release window finally. The new trailer for Shin Megani X Fire Emblem looks even for bat shit crazy. ^ That Paper Mario crossover thing does look cool. I'm just not a huge handheld person so I wanted a bit more for the Wii U personally. That PC conference was by far the worst conference and just worthless. Oh, big news a 2 year old fighting game is coming to PC!!??!!!! OMGWTFBBQ MASTER RACE. I am happy about the Heroes of the Storm expansion at least and the Starcraft Prologue missions soon. Good ole Blizzard :] Edited by NinjaPenguin8969, Jun 16 2015, 10:43 PM.

That PC conference was pointless, and made my butt hurt. But, the expansion for Pillars of Eternity that we knew was coming, actually has a name now. So that's cool.

FF7 remake: Hell yeah Pillars of Eternity expansion: Looking forward to it XCOM 2: Probably my most anticipated "modern" game at the time SMTxFE: Was my most anticipated game, lost all hope when I saw the trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5R_pS0h5Qk Last Guardian: Wow, unreal that it's happening. I guess should be more shocked, but the FF7 and Shenmue 3 announcements kind of drowned the shock factor for me. Doom 4: Looks dissapointing, not that I was expecting a proper sequel as all the original ID members have already left the company. Already knew that it's likely not going to have decent multiplayer or level design as it's multiplatform and the QTE takedowns were the final nail in its coffin. The visuals seemed kind of try hard-y (I don't mind gore but the gore in the trailer looked kinda plasticky, ehh), but I do hope they manage to get some of the gothic style of Doom/Quake/Unreal in some levels. Battlefront 3: Multiplayer looks like it's worth a shot, probably picking it up. Rare collection: Sounds like a neat idea (need more classic game collections on physical discs), but I've already got most of their stuff. Bought an overpriced Conker's Bad Fur Day cart just a few months ago. Cuphead: Biggest surprise factor for me, looks amazing and I've never heard of this thing before. KH3 Trailer? Awesome. FF7 Remake trailer? Awesome. The Last Guardian Gameplay? Awesome. Shenmue 3 announcement? Unexpected, but awesome. Nintendo Direct? A failure in every sense. How can you call that Metroid? Blehh. Star Fox looks pretty dated too. The main redeeming factor of that Direct was the Zelda 3DS 3 player coop game. That looks pretty good actually. Shoulda started developing a Metroid game for WiiU though, big missed opportunity. Why no mention of Fatal Frame or The Devils Third? At least we get to play Xenoblade Chronicles X this year. SW: Battlefront looks incredible. Can't wait to do Co-op missions with friends. Doom 4 has amazing visuals! Its just gorgeous. Also cannot wait for that beta to drop. Mirrors Edge Catalyst looks pretty amazing too. Open world? Count me in. Cuphead looks absolutely amazing. Totally unexpected and easily one of my favorite things of Microsofts conference. The pirate rare game looks ok, not enough gameplay was shown. I like the Rare Replay 30 game collection though, they have a good amount of quality titles going into it. Star Ocean 5 hype was nice. New Neir game seemed to make everyone happy, I still havent played the original or Drakengard. Horizon: Zero Dawn looks pretty unique, im sure it will turn out well. Gears 4 and Halo 5 look pretty great. Especially H5. Did they even mention anything about the new Crackdown? I didn't get to see the whole Microsoft conference. That elite controller looks redonk tho. I'll stick with the 3.5mm jack version that comes out July 1st. Edited by ShadowBlaze, Jun 17 2015, 06:28 PM.

^ They definitely didn't show Crackdown 3. For some reason I recall something about more games being shown at Gamescom so that could be one of them. Although I could be talking out of my ass too and not realizing it lol. I'm really excited for Halo 5 too :] I'm stoked about that Rare collection. I have a lot of those games already but they're on numerous systems, some of which I don't have anymore so this is perfect for me. Hopefully this drops the price of Conker's Bad Fur Day on ebay too because quite frankly if you're charging people $80+ for cart only then you're an asshole. Not a terribly exciting E3 for me since Nintendo now chooses to make announcements throughout the year through their directs. I was hoping for a little more 3ds related, or at least a big surprise, but I'm sure that will come when they're ready. I'm sure lots of people are excited about Shenmue and the FF7 remake, as well as the new Fallout and Doom games. Personally, since I really enjoy Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, I'm looking forward to the next in the series, and what I'm most excited for is Star Wars Battlefront. Those trailers look amazing and I can't wait, this will be a day one purchase for me. |

If anyone was disappointed like me that they didn't show FFXV at all, apparently SE said that they did not have a E3 showing of FFXV because at Gamescom they are gonna drop a megaton for the game and start marketing it in full force. |

So I haven't been able to watch all the conferences but I did watch the Bethesda one so ill comment on that for now. Fallout 4: Love what is going on right now so very hyped for that. Fallout Shelter: Im really loving the game right now, its a lot of fun and im glad its not a game you HAVE to be online for. Doom 4: I have a lot of hope for this game, doesn't mean its going to be any good, but I want it to be. Its been so long since we had a good Doom game but also its a bit of a hard story to make original, it was original back when it first came out, but not nowadays, we have seen too many "Fighting Hell" stories in FPS's. I did really like the executions though, that made me go OOOOOOO Once ive managed to catch up on the other conferences ill update. |

I just got around to watching the Nintendo Tree-House play Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem and I found myself a little disappointed. To me it just looks like Persona minus the capturing/fusion aspect. That is not necessarily a bad thing, it is not like I dislike Persona. I was just hoping that they would mix the 2 series and all I saw from Fire Emblem that they pulled a few of the characters from those game in it and made the look more demonic. |

I wonder if Pete will make a video on his reaction to the Last Guardian announcement. I can't imagine how hyped he must be. That (or the FF7 remake) should've ended the Sony conference imo. After the tenth time watching the same animation, your response might go from OOO to UGH. And that should happen somewhere between the first and second level. If it's going to be a major feature of the gameplay, it's going to ruin the pacing of the game. Doom (1&2, not 3) is about fast paced projectile avoidance and level design that supports it. Any kind of attempt to throw in modern gameplay gimmicks like quick time event takedowns and "finishing moves" is going to mess up the gameplay flow. Not that it's likely the game will be as fast as Doom to begin with. Original Doom runs ridicolously fast, your character walks faster than Call of Duty/Halo/Battlefield 3 characters run. I mean, you can't really expect this to be like Doom 1 or 2. For 1, not the exact same team that worked on 1/2. 2, I saw no way in which the executions were forced upon you to the point where they would ruin the pace of the game. Its entirely up to you how much you want to "ruin the pace of the game". I mean, I can understand where you are coming from. Doom 1/2 were considered FPS masterpieces once they were released and to this day hold their own among the other FPS released. It has a unique feel and gameplay style that others can try to copy but won't create something that can compare to those. I don't think they are trying to be exactly like Doom 1,2 or 3 for that matter, I mean you have the double jumps and everything looks clearly lit as to not follow in Doom 3s footsteps. It's just a whole new Doom game, and to me it looks amazing. Looks like a super violent awesome ass romp through hell and back. That ending sequence may have been just for the demo, but just imagine playing as different people in different parts of that facility because of monsters like that that rip you apart in an instant. I think it'd be pretty cool/unique. I dunno, just some speculation. But if they were gonna make anything like the original Dooms, which I would be totally down with, they should probably do it as a $15 title for XBLA/PSN/Steam with new graphic style and not for a whole new game. |
