Here is a short list of games that I'm looking forward to this year. I haven't researched it much-- this is off the top of my head. Hopefully no delays. The Last Guardian Uncharted 4 WiLD (seems interesting) Zelda Hot Shots Golf Doom (been awhile for me) Bloodborne is the only "Souls" game that I've played, but Dark Souls 3 looks to be on my radar. Street Fighter 5, too. |

Any of you guys pick up FarCry Primal? It's a weird game that I don't know what to think of. There's no villain really and I have no idea what's happening storywise aside you're part of some cave man tribe, and want to kill another cave man tribe. Thus far it's like the side mission type stuff of FarCry 3/4 are the main centerpiece with no sense of direction or purpose. The melee combat isn't very good but using a bow and spears are mostly good. The first five hours were also a chore until you can tame a Sabertooth Tiger, or Cave Lion. Beast taming is cool but until you get those two, or a bear you'll get attacked constantly and it was just annoying. Having a pet Sabertooth Tiger made it a lot more enjoyable since it can kill stuff easily and scares away everything with its presence. The enemy cave men also respawn as fast as enemies did in FarCry 2 which is just tiring if you happen to get out of view distance for a second and return. Even the character upgrades. In the previous games it seemed to make a difference, in this game I'm still getting killed quickly and my attacks don't feel much more powerful despite me having about 70% of the upgrades now. I can just carry more arrows and have more health bars that still go away quickly if a Jaguar sneaks up on me. The only noticeable improvement was taming a Sabertooth Tiger, definitely invest all your skill points early on into taming one. Just wondering what other people's thoughts here are. The people on neogaf seem to be enjoying it so I'm probably in the minority. I'm liking it, it's just not quite tickling me as much as FarCry 3 & 4 did. Have you guys ever played any of the Death To Spies games? Alekhine's Gun comes out March 1st and is, I guess, the spiritual successor to Death To Spies. I don't think it's supposed to be anything mind-blowing, but it may be fun? It's a 3rd person stealth game and some people are saying it's just a ripoff of Hitman (which I haven't played). Maybe if, and when, it's priced right, I may give it a shot. EDIT: IDK, it kinda looks boring, lol. Edited by GrillmarkedX, Feb 29 2016, 11:03 PM.
